Paula Corley
Founder & designer
Born and raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico. I spent most of my time with my Grandparents. They owned an antique shop on old route 66, I grew-up with the smells and sensations of recapturing the past and giving new life to items left behind.
Graduated: Otis Parson College of Fine Arts & Design receiving a BFA, 1990, Designer of the Year. I was fortunate to work with Bob Mackie and learned more than I could have imagined in both Fashion and Costume design.
My first daughter Matilda was born and inspired me to turn my vintage linens into the sweetest drool bibs. Well, word spread and Matilda & Company - "Matti & Me" was started. The line has grown tremendously since then and many new products have been added. We now offer unique, quality handmade clothing and gifts for both girls and boys from infancy thur size 8/9. The line is sold in over 200 high-end boutiques across the country.

I come from generations of seamstresses that span the oceans. I was raised sitting on the sewing machines while playing and learning.
Graduated: Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising with a dual Degree in Fashion Design & Costume Design.
I bring the ability to incorporate the one-of-a-kind details of each Design and put them into a production mold. Together with my staff we are able to over see the entire production at Matilda & Company. We offer meticulously designed and produced garments and gifts that you will be proud to give and wear.
